Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD EDWARD GALAGUN Suddenly, on Saturday, October 29, 2005, near Hope, BC, Donald Galagun, aged 48 years of British Columbia, formerly of Petersfield, MB, beloved son of Jennie and the late Marvin Galagun. He is also survived by many relatives and friends. Donald was born in Winnipeg on June 15, 1957 and was raised on the family farm in Petersfield. He graduated from the Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive High School and later went on to Red River College where he graduated with a degree in Computer Programming. In 1981, Donald moved to British Columbia where he worked for a few years in computer programming then pursued his career in truck driving. He enjoyed playing pool with friends and competed in numerous tournaments. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Petersfield with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment of ashes will follow in the churchyard cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Donald's memory can be made to the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Box 492, Petersfield, MB R0C 2L0. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

For many years Don was a terrific and fun friend. We shared many great times together. I'm in Vancouver and cannot make it back in time for the service but will be flying in Nov. 12 for a week. If any past mutual friends from the 'peg and Central read this, I'd love the chance to reconnect and get together for a drink and game of pool in Don's honor, possibly this weekend?
