Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL EVELENE ANDERSON Peacefully with her family by her side, Muriel Anderson passed away on November 4, 2005 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie in 1988; her son Jim in 1990 as well as by three of her sisters, Lillian, Irene and Isabel. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons Len (Diane) and Rick (Louanne); her daughter-in-law Dorothy; eight grandchildren, Glen (Barb), Debbie (Bill), Steve, Mark (Carolyn), Jason, Tracy (Ryan), Julie (Greg) and Jeff; 10 great-grandchildren as well as sisters Kay and May; brother Bill (Pearl) and numerous nieces and nephews. Muriel was born on June 1, 1918 and married Leslie Anderson in 1940 which led to a 48 year career on the farm in Rosser, MB. She was devoted to all her family and delighted generations with her dinner rolls and pastries. The twinkle in her eyes and her sense of humour endeared her to all. She loved a spirited card or board game as well as crossword puzzles and the odd trip to the Casinos in Winnipeg and Las Vegas. The family would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa and the Grace General Hospital for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
