NORMAN CHARBONNEAU It is with profound sorrow and sadness, that we announce the passing of our dear brother Norm on Saturday, November 5, 2005 after a battle with cancer and diabetes. Norm will be sadly missed by his brothers, Leo and Don; sisters, Lilly and Dolly. He was predeceased by his parents, Pete and Eva; brothers, Peter, Les and Art; sister Flo. Norm was employed with Safeway for 38 years before retiring. In his healthier days, he enjoyed hunting, socializing and bingo. Norm also enjoyed old time fiddling to which he would call out the square dance. If anyone ever needed a hand, Norm was always there. The family would like to thank all the nurses who took care of Norm at Seven Oaks Hospital. He grew very fond of them. Prayers and viewing will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral mass 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 300 Donalda Ave. Committal Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vincent Brown, Mike Matsyk, Tom Palmer, Paul Bester, Jimmy Bester and Gary Bester. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Norm's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg MB R3A 0V9 or to Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 26331, STN BRM B, Toronto.
