Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER EMILE BOURGET December 14, 1929 - November 4, 2005 With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grand-father, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Walter Bourget. Walter passed away quietly and peacefully, with his family at his side, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on November 4, 2005 at the age of 75 years. Walter is survived by his loving wife Inga; his children, Leonard (Carole), Diana (Don), Linda (Wayne), Shelly (Jeff), and Howard; his grand-children Wendy and Carol, Jennifer and Jeffrey, Kevin and Chase, Chantal, Candice and Matthew, Amanda, Tiffany, Kennedy, Julie and Beckie; and great-grandchild Raydon; his brothers, Louis (Arvilla) Bourget, Robert Bourget, and Raymond (Jeannine) Bourget; his sisters, May (Edward) Dunn, Therese (Raoul) Wafer, and Marie Bourget; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Blanche Bourget, his sister Louise Bourget, and stepson Art Riemer. Dad was born in Grande River, QC, moved to Thunder Bay, ON in the early 1950s and later in 1969, he moved to Cranberry Portage, MB, where he resided until his passing. He worked in the forestry industry from his late teens until he retired in 1992. Dad had 13 wonderful years of retirement, fishing and camping at Naosap, near Cranberry Portage, catching countless fish, sharing his prosperous catches with his children, so that they may have mouth-watering fish fries. When he wasn't fishing or camping, he was travelling the countryside visiting his daughter in Snow Lake, MB; his son in Selkirk, MB; or his brother in Thunder Bay, ON. Dad thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, which was evident in his paths he chose through life. Dad was a very optimistic, kind, and gentle man, was always there, willing to lend a helping hand. He was well known and loved by everyone who had the chance to meet him and he will be sadly and lovingly missed by everyone. We were truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. Dad touched the hearts of all. We Love You, (Je T'aime).
