Edith Maud Baillie (Carswell), 92 years old, December 17, 1912 to November 6, 2005. Predeceased by husband James (Jim) Baillie; three brothers, Dick, Nick and Maurice Carswell; sister Florence Dick (Carswell) and daughter Joan Baillie. Survived by daughter Darlene Gibb (Don) of Winnipeg; son Jack Baillie (Gerri) of Waterloo, ON; grandchildren, James Gibb (Linda), Heather Gibb, Ian Gibb, Jeff Baillie and Carly Krug (Dave); great-grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah, Cameron, Jamie and Ella. Edith Baillie and family lived in Morden, MB from the late 1930's through the early 1960's. Edith was a long time Mission Band and Sunday School teacher at St. Pauls United Church in Morden. She was actively involved in curling, Eastern Star, Rebekahs and Kinettes. Husband Jim was a long serving manager of the Monarch Lumberyard (Revelstoke) in Morden, Winnipeg Polo Park, Brandon and Portage La Prairie. When Edith and Jim left Morden, they lived in Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage la Prairie and Abbotsford, BC. Following her husband, Jim's death in the late 1980's, Edith moved to Barrie, ON and then St. Jacobs, ON. Please join family and friends at funeral services in Morden at St. Pauls United Church on Saturday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m.
