Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUY JOSEPH GODBOUT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy Godbout, on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Concordia General Hospital. Guy was predeceased by his mother and father Berthe and Jarvis Godbout, brother Hector and sisters Odile and Ghislane. He is survived by his loving wife Lucille, his son Paul and grandson Scott of Edmonton, his daughter Rita of Vancouver, and his mother-in-law Mrs. Duhamel, brother-in-law Roland (Muriel) of Saskatoon, Gilbert (Gloria) of Edmonton, Benoit of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Rolande and Eugene Raynaud, sister-in-law Helene Duhamel, aunt Rita Dupuis, cousins in Ste Marie de Beauce Quebec and Ottawa, and his special friends Ben and Ellen Leggio, Gordon and Gabriella Bowen, Doris McKee, Wayne and Sharon Thom of Jasper, his many friends from Alberta also numerous nieces and nephews. Guy was born and educated in Alberta, and at the St. Joseph College in Quebec. He worked for the C.N.R. for 30 years in both Jasper and Edmonton. Upon his retirement in 1985 he and Lucille moved to Winnipeg. A celebration of Guy's life will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. An ash interment will take place at a later date. Was very sorry to hear about Guy. I was raised with Guy in Amber Valley, Alberta. He worked each fall trashing for my father Obadiah Bowen. I often took my Mother to their farm to visit his Mother.
