Aunt Olive was like a second mother....I attended a summer dance program in Winnipeg when I was young and of course, being away from home for a month was big moment at the age of 14, but Aunt Olive ensured I was looked after and picked up on the weekend to have a home cooked meal (which was always amazing) . She was my mother Dorothy's eldest sister and the one my mother had so much in common with. Dorothy looked up to Olive and was always so impressed by how she looked after family and grateful for her support of her other siblings - Aunt Olive was a true Winnipegger and committed to those around her...a great loss...and missed. - Posted by: Janet Boger (Niece) on: Jul 03, 2021
