Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) MALCHUK William (Bill) Malchuk of Winnipeg passed away suddenly at the St. Boniface General Hospital on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife Rose and son Melvin and will be sadly missed by his son Wayne of Calgary and his daughters, Kelly, Lyndsay and Vanessa all of Vancouver, grandson Maury and wife Audrey and great-granddaughter Gillian of Winnipeg, daughter-in-law Kim (Mel's wife) of Winnipeg. Bill also leaves behind his sister Rose Stech (Shoal Lake) and brothers Martin (Anola), Harry (Brandon) and Fred (Vancouver). Bill will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and everyone who touched his life. Bill and Rose were married on November 6, 1949 in Oakburn, MB. They lived and farmed in Shoal Lake where their two sons were born. Bill moved his family to Winnipeg in 1963 and began working construction. Bill later worked with the CN until retirement. Bill enjoyed loading up the motor home, boating, fishing or going to one of his brother's for some hunting. Bill loved spending his time in the outdoors. A special thank you to all of the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home for their care, support and love. Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. from Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg with Fr. Ernie Hafichuk officiating. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Shoal Lake with Fr. Michael Tkachuk officiating.
