Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUES ROELS April 5, 1928 - November 7, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jacques, aged 77 years, on November 7, 2005 peacefully in his sleep at the Selkirk General Hospital. He has left us now to be with the Lord. He was predeceased by his son Paul in 1966. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 54 years Elsje; his sons, Robert, Jack (Vicky) and Randall; grandchildren, Robbie, Roanne, Rory, Kristen, Jordan, Amanda, Marina and Kyle. Pop was born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands and worked as a mechanic. He met and married Elsje and they immigrated to Canada in 1957 with two sons Robert and Paul. He continued to work as a mechanic and later as a machinist owning and operating a number of businesses through the years. Pop had great love for his family and was always concerned, helpful and there for us. Pop's compassion for the less fortunate showed in his lending a helping hand to those who needed it. We know that pop is at peace, and he will forever live in our hearts and our memories. Thanks to Dr. Badenhorst and the staff at Selkirk General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held on November 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 341 Eveline St., Selkirk, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to Salvation Army, or the Selkirk Food Bank. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 18 Main St., Selkirk, MB 785-1575
