DESMOND CARLILE WHITE Desmond passed away peacefully at Tuxedo Villa personal care home on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the age of 93. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Sheila and his son Murray (Coral) and their children Charlotte, Genevieve and Grant and his daughter Pamela (Eric) and their children Julia, Cameron and Scott. He was a devoted father who was very proud of his childrens' accomplishments. Desmond taught school for 40 years, mainly at Daniel McIntyre School with a two year posting at the School of National Defence in Zweibrucken, Germany. He retired in 1978. He will be remembered for his love of animals, particularly the family dog, Moses and his love of flowers. Special thanks to the staff at Tuxedo Villa, Station 3 for the compassion and care shown to Desmond and his family. A memorial service will be held at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Turnbull officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
