Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMATT SHUWERA January 12, 1918 - November 5, 2005 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Matt Shuwera at the age of 87 at his farm in Vita. He will be deeply missed by his children: Beverley, Brian (Charmaine), Denise (David), Angela, and Kelvin (Lisa); grandchildren: Jasmine, Elizabeth, Braxton, Keenan and Petra; as well as many family members, neighbours and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Iwan and Palahna; his wife, Sophie; his daughter, Christine; brothers, Mike, Wilmer, John; and sister, Ann. Prayers will be Friday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Steinbach Funeral Home. Funeral service Saturday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vita with Father Gregory Zubacz officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Reception following interment at Steinbach Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation. Vichnaya Pamyat. Arrangements entrusted to Steinbach Funeral Home.
