LESLIE (BRUCE) ROMANOW Peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit Bruce passed away at the age of 50, after an 18 month battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Joseph and Lois, daughters, Christine, Chantal, their mother April, brothers David (Valerie), James (Tracy), nieces Cora, Aimee and Crystal. Bruce was born in Winnipeg on May 17, 1955. His career began in construction with the family business Roman Equipment Service (1973) Ltd. He was instrumental in the building of water and wastewater projects in Western Canada, NW Ontario, North West Territories and the United States. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the healthcare professionals who aided Bruce in his battle with cancer, at both the Grace and St. Boniface Hospitals. At Bruce's request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory may be made to Palliative Care at the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2A6. I live this life until this life won't let me live here anymore and I will walk, yes I will walk with patience through that open door. I have no fears, angels follow me wherever I may go.
