REGINALD (REG) GAMMON It is with very heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Reg, on Thursday, November 3, 2005 after a brief stay at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 82 years. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife, Pam; son Doug; daughter-in-law Jaime of Canmore, Alberta; daughter Jane; son-in-law Tom Dodds and grandson Matt Dodds, all of Brunkild, MB; sister Phyllis Marchant of Otterburn Heights, PQ.; nephew Tony Marchant, BC.; sister Gwen; brother-in-law Art Tateishi; nephew Arthur Tateishi, all of Toronto, ON; niece and nephews Susan, Bobbie, Lenard and Ronnie Poole as well as numerous friends from both Winnipeg and his winter home in Mesa, AZ. He was predeceased by his parents, Flo and Charlie; sister Iris Poole and nephew Brian Marchant. On August 12, 1923 Reg was born in Lachine, QC. He grew up in Verdun, QC and served in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War. After receiving his C.A. he worked for Meisner Steamship Lines in Montreal until 1970 when he joined James Richardson Sons as Secretary-Treasurer of Richardson Terminals, Mohawk Navigation and Sorel Elevators until his retirement. Reg taught us all many things, respect, kindness, generosity of spirit, honesty, pride and integrity. He was an avid golfer, who taught his children and grandson to play when they were all about two years-old. Reg taught them that to have a good score was fun, but it was how you played the game that really counted. Until his passing, for many years he enjoyed playing with his golf buddies from St. Boniface Golf Course. He was a very loving person. Our family was so lucky, as he was so supportive of all of us in whatever we did. In his eyes we were perfect. Reg told us often how much he loved us. We will miss him forever. At Reg's request no formal funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank his family doctor, Colin Fletcher and his cardiologist Dr. L. Robert Kroeker as well as the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Reg's memory to a charity of one's choice. God Bless you Reg. Reg's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
