ADONIAS (DON) DUVAL Born August 24, 1932 in St. Jean-Baptiste. It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather on November 8, 2005. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Helene (Banville) of St. Pierre, his children Raymond (Paulette), Gilbert (Lorraine), Monique (Noel) and Carmel (special friend Darryl), son-in-law Dave; grandchildren Daniel (Sarah), Michelle, Jacques (Roxanne), Crystal, Marc (Michelle), Eric (Leanne), Stephane, Anthony and Jasmine; his brother Albert (Therese), his sisters Solange (Leon Jobin), Therese and Annette; in-laws, Jean (Yvette), Roland (Jeannette), Marc, Edouard, Berthe, Claude, Marie-Ange and Raymond. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Anna Duval, brother Camille, Leo Sabourin, Jos Lavallee and parents-in-law Albert and Marie-Ange Banville, Simone, Claudette, Joan and Ti-Jos. Having lost his father at an early age, Dad was always the opportunist! He knew a deal when he saw one and he didn't hesitate to go for it! He was always the first to say it was not because he was clever, but because he was lucky! Dad had a great life living it to the fullest! He was a very successful businessman. After an early retirement, he loved nothing more than to go camping with family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church. A special thank you to Dr. Olweny, nurse Bonnie and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital (5-B), Dr. Strank and staff at De Salaberry Hospital. Donations can be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or La Fondation Medico-Social De Salaberry.
