Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWACLAWA NOWAKOWSKI Peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, Waclawa Nowakowski passed away at the Grace Hospital with her family by her side. Left to mourn are her sons Dr. Anthony Nowakowski (Yolanda) of Winnipeg and Stanley Nowakowski (Kim) of Calgary; grandchildren Gabrielle, Eric, Courtney and Ashley; nieces and nephews in Poland, England, Australia and the United States. Waclawa was born in Koniecpol, Poland on December 26, 1921 to Szczepan and Anna Szapski. After surviving The Second World War, Waclawa came to Canada to be reunited with her childhood sweetheart Andrew whom she married in 1957. Together they established a fine life for themselves and their two sons. Andrew predeceased Waclawa in 1995. In later years she received great joy from her grand-children and her friendship with Zygmunt and Jean Kozlowski and Irene Dudzicz. The family wishes to thank Dr. John Kreml for his compassionate care over the years and to the caring medical and nursing staff at Grace Hospital. Prayers will be held on Monday, November 14, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 15, 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue with Rev. Fr. Henryk Uczniak officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
