PEARL E. STEWART Our beloved wife and mother, Pearl, passed away suddenly and tragically on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. After successfully beating two (2) forms of cancer, she left us unexpectedly from unrelated causes. Remaining to cherish her memory are her caring and devoted husband of 53 years, Fraser Alexander; her loving son Dennis Norman (Lorraine Sebastian); grandchildren, Jennifer Nicole and Melissa Sara (Richard Pearse); sister Edna Sadler together with her son Art Sadler and his sons and grandchildren of SK; brother-in-law Don Stewart and wife Gertie of California; sister-in-law Ruby Stewart; nephews, nieces and cousins; and her many friends both here in Canada and those wintering in Arizona. Pearl/Mom loved to play any type of card game, but she took special interest and had great skill particularly in playing Bridge. During her working career, she was a teacher in several grades and schools starting in rural Saskatchewan, then moving to Alberta where she met and married Dad in Claresholm and where Dennis was born, moving on to Saskatchewan, Southern Ontario and finally back to Manitoba following Dad's service in the Air Force and where they both retired. They wintered each year in Apache Junction, Arizona making many new friends over their 21 years of travel. Special thanks to Dr. Wayne Van Horne, Dr. Paula Rittenberg and most especially to Dr. Paul A. Galbraith, all of whom provided quality care to her over the years. Flowers are gratefully declined but donations would be appreciated to either the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. In fulfilling Mom's wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Pearl's Life with friends and family invited will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the lower level of 679 St. Annes Road. Pearl's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
