Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK MAKINS It is with deep sadness but wonderful memories, we announce the passing of Frank on Friday, November 11, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish Frank's life are his wife Patricia (nee Russell), sons, Steven (Linda), Gary (Leslie), daughter Nancy (Steve Pottery), grandchildren, David, Kevin, Lisa, Sarah, Karyn and Heather, his brother Richard (Linda), his mother-in-law Lillian Russell, brothers-in-law, Ray (Marlene) Russell, Glen (Marleen), Blair (Deb), Donald (Doreen), Craig (Janet), sisters-in-law, Kay Ferris (Jack Nichol), Marj (Roger Rigelhof), Bev Kippen and Marilyn Russell. Uncle Frank will always be remembered in different ways by the nieces and nephews that he enjoyed spending time with over the years. He had a very special rapport with young and old alike, enjoyed being with people and was considered a good friend by many. Frank was born in Hamilton, ON on March 14, 1930. He worked for 48 years for the same firm selling Aylmer/Del Monte/Nabisco products in Hamilton, Winnipeg and Toronto areas. He retired in Toronto in 1993 and enjoyed motor homing and spending winters in Florida until failing health got in the way. He and his wife moved to Carman, MB in October 1996 where he enjoyed being a member of the Carman Golf Club. Frank loved life. He enjoyed being around people who had a sense of humour and he loved teasing those closest to him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at Carman United Church.
