Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN EYOLFSON Peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2005 at Goodwin Lodge, Teulon, Lillian Eyolfson, beloved wife of Laurence Eyolfson passed away at the age of 80 years. Lillian is survived by her husband Laurence; children, Christine (Gerald) Tom, Alvin (Noreen); grandchildren, Lorraine, Marianne, Geraldine, Nicole, Eric, Garth; great-grandson Nicholas; sister Anne (Keith) Burton; brother Ken (Alice) Larson; brother-in-law Ivan Campbell; sister-in-law Herdis Maddin. Lillian was predeceased by her brothers, Clarence and Bert (in infancy); sister Doris Campbell. Lillian was born November 8, 1925 at Westerham, MB, West of Teulon. Lillian excelled at cooking, sewing (much of her children's clothes), knitting, crocheting, petti-point embroidery and especially loved working in her garden. She volunteered her time at many organizations and enjoyed every minute of it. She was a Sunday School teacher at the United Church in Clarkleigh and a 4-H leader at Inwood. Around 1971 she joined the WI at Inwood. When she and Laurence retired they moved to Teulon. Lillian joined the Teulon and Inwood Seniors groups, the Teulon Museum Committee, the Teulon Hospital Auxiliary, the Teulon Resource Centre and St. Peter Church in Teulon. She was secretary or president for many of these groups. She also did volunteer work at Goodwin Lodge Nursing Home and delivered Meals-On-Wheels to many homes. Laurence and Lillian loved to travel. The traveled to Norway and Sweden in 1979 and to the East and West Coasts of Canada. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the Inwood Hall. Pastor Claire Speary will officiate, with interment to follow at the Inwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to Goodwin Lodge. The family would like to thank the staff at Goodwin Lodge for the compassionate care they always gave to Lillian. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
