HJORTUR JOSEPH BENJAMINSON It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Hjortur Joseph Benjaminson, aged 85 years on November 11, 2005 at the Goodwin Lodge in Teulon, MB. Hjortur was born October 21, 1920 in the Otto District east of Lundar, MB. He farmed in the Lundar area until he married Judy in 1985. They moved to farm at Inwood until 1994 when they sold the farm and moved to Teulon. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Judy; stepsons, Kevin, Robert and Chris Kunzelman of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren, John, Dennis and Tannis of Winnipeg; Nicholas and Roger of Red Deer, AB; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Shandi, Kaleb and Aiden; sisters, Asa and Margret of Winnipeg, MB; brother Numi of Narcisse, MB; also many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Benjamin and Halli; sisters, Christine, Inga and Thora. Cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lundar Personal Care Home Guild, Box 60 Lundar, MB R0C 1Y0, or to the Teulon Goodwin Lodge Personal Care Home.
