PHILIP YUE WAH LAU After a lengthy battle with cancer, we announce the passing of Philip Yue Wah Lau on November 14, 2005 at Riverview Health Centre. He left this world and is now resting at peace with God. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Lily; children, Grace, Peter and Timothy. Philip was born on November 4, 1930 in China. He graduated from Hong Kong Mechanical Engineering Evening School. For over ten years, he was employed in American Engineering Corporation. He and Lily were married in Hong Kong. From Hong Kong, the family immigrated to Winnipeg and worked until retirement. A meticulous man who cares about his family, he also served faithfully and zealously for the Lord. Dad was assisting with the transportation area in Sunday School and the Ladies' Fellowship, Zion Fellowship coordinator at the Chinese Alliance Church. The family wishes to thank Dr. Loh, Dr. Simon Wong, Dr. Brandes, and Dr. Shad, nurses and staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Health Centre for their care and efforts. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Rev. Wilson Tran officiating.
