Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORIS NICOLAAS BERNARDUS WIERSEMA After a courageous battle with cancer, Floris passed away peacefully on November 15, 2005 at the age of 46 years. Floris was predeceased by his father Nicolaas, sisters, Antje, Grietje. Floris will be greatly missed by his loving wife Sonya; daughters, Robin (Tyler), Jennifer; sons, Matthew, Erik; mother Grace; brothers, John (Freda), Jannes (Cathy); sister Angela (Ray) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 701 Regent Ave. West. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18 at Redeemer Canadian Reformed Church, 15 Bates Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd. The family would like to extend a warm and special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Riverview Health Centre, 3E ward for all their care and support. My deepest sympathy goes out to you Sonya and your family. Although I did not know "Toothpaste" very well ... I did know he was a great man and his passing will be a great loss to all of us.
