MYER GALPERN It is with deep sadness but wonderful memories we announce the passing of Myer Galpern on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He had just celebrated his 100th birthday with his family. Myer was born October 9, 1905 in Winnipeg, MB. He graduated from the University of Manitoba Law School in 1932. After practising law for a brief period, he joined his father's candy factory, The L. Galpern Candy Company where he remained until the plant closed. Myer was an avid reader exploring current events, politics, history, religion and economics with equal enthusiasm. He will always be remembered by his devoted wife Mavis; daughter Barbara (Roy); grandchildren, Michael (Gina), Steven (Randi), Jonathan (Leah) and great-grandson Spencer. The family wishes to thank the staff on 4B at St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and excellent care. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
