Left to mourn is her husband of 54 years, Bill Corbett; sons, Glen Corbett and Brian (Cheryl) Corbett of Penticton, BC; three grandchildren, Keith of Penticton, Blair of Calgary, Alberta and Lana of Penticton. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Tony Wyenberg of Winnipeg, MB, sister-in-law, Audrey Pearson of Winnipeg and sister-in-law Mary (Don) Walzer of Headingley, MB and several nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by a brother Neil, in infancy; her parents, Nils and Ester Pearson; her much loved siblings, Gordon Pearson and Marion Wyenberg, all of Winnipeg. Louise was born December 12, 1928 at St. Boniface, MB, raised and educated in Winnipeg. She married Bill in 1951 and resided in Alberta and Saskatchewan before returning to Winnipeg where Brian and Glen were born. In 1969 she and the family moved to Victoria, BC before settling in Summerland, BC in 1973 and later Penticton. Louise was a gentle, kind and generous and dedicated herself to her family and friends in much the same manner as her sister and brother. Bill, Brian and Glen would like to thank the staff of We Care Home and Health Services, Kelly Care facility in Summerland and The Village by the Station for their kindness, compassion and incredible dedication in caring for Louise in the last few years of her life. Appreciation is also extended to Dianne Letendre for her ongoing support for Louise. Cremation has taken place and it was Louise's wish that no service be held. The family requests that any remembrance of her to be to the Alzheimers Society of Canada. Friends are invited to a celebration of Louise's life at 132 Brooks Pl. in Penticton on November 19 at 6:00 p.m.
