ADELINE WICKLOW Peacefully on November 16, 2005, Adeline passed away at Brummitt-Feasby ALS House with her family at her side. Adeline leaves to mourn her passing her brother, Bill and wife Gerda: her sister Florence and husband Tony Drury; nieces, Melissa Wicklow, Patrice and Heather Drury; nephews, Brett Drury, Michael Drury and wife Susan; great-nephews, John and Tristan Drury and Myrtle Spivak; many other caring relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Mary Wicklow. Adeline was born in Hazelridge and attended school there before moving to Winnipeg. She taught at Zora School, then was employed at the Canadian Wheat Board until her retirement. Adeline was very dedicated to her career and made many cherished friendships there. Adeline always said she was proud to be working for a company that represented the farming community. Adeline was an avid golfer at the Rossmere Community Club and also enjoyed curling and bowling. She enjoyed her travels throughout Canada, Europe, United States and especially Hawaii. Adeline was a member of the Holy Eucharist Parish and participated in a singing program to entertain the residents of Holy Family Nursing Home and was also a member of the Ukrainian Business and Professional Women. Adeline was generous to many charitable associations and was instrumental in the organization of the sponsorship of a child in the Foster Parent Plan at work. Adeline also looked forward to our annual family reunion held each November and was hoping to be present this year. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the health care providers. To Joan and Henry De Jong, who cared for her over the past years, to Eileen, Paul, Lillian, Moira, Sam and the friends and relatives who visited and extended their love, prayers and concern. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Michael Winn officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adeline's memory to Brummitt-Feasby ALS House, 106 Kirby Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2Y 0E8. We love you, we'll miss you and we'll remember you always. God keep you in His loving care. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
