Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL CAMPBELL Peacefully on November 17, 2005, Ethel Campbell passed into eternal rest due to complications from congestive heart failure and a malignant brain tumour. Ethel was born on September 13, 1915, to Robert and Minnie Campbell. The Campbell family resided in the West End of Winnipeg on Erin Street. Ethel attended Principal Sparling School. In her earlier years she was an avid knitter, enjoyed daily walks, watching TV, singing Scottish songs, shopping excursions with her mother, eating goodies and weekends at the cottage at Moth Lake. Ethel had a love for cats, especially Monty and Blackie. Ethel was predeceased by her parents Robert and Minnie; two brothers Donald and Jimmy; and two sisters, Florence Simmons and Robenia (Ruby) Owens. She is survived by sister Roslind Brown of Winnipeg. Ethel was a kind and gentle person who, for the past two years, resided at the Riverview Health Centre, CD-2 Ward. The family extends their thanks to the doctors, nursing staff and volunteers for their excellent care provided. Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Wednesday, November 23, at 3:00 p.m. Flowers respectfully declined. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riverview Health Centre, 1 Morley St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 2P4, Attn. Marlin Tailor, Recreation Facilitator or to The Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has already taken place.
