Campbell P.Eng (retired) died on Friday, November 18, 2005 peacefully at home as he wanted, following a lengthy illness. He is survived by loving wife Marilyn, son Ian (Kate), daughter Tara (Dave) and precious and only grandchild Morgan Ashley as well as special niece Natalie (Gary), Tracey (Paul and children), and nephew Reuben (Allison and children) along with friends and family in England and in Canada. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday November, 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gimli Lutheran Church on 3rd Ave., in Gimli. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by Gilbart Funeral Home 1-800-230-6482

Marilyn, I was taken aback when I read your news late this evening, not aware that Bill had been so desperately ill. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. Bill passed away on my mother's 81st birthday, so not a date that will be forgotten. I will write separately, but meanwhile, I am thinking of you, and I will inform my parents, daughter Cate and brother Nigel. I have noted that you have already notified daughter Sarah in Australia.
