(Aunty) Thelma, as we affectionately called her and as a dear friend to my mother Kay, who passed away in 1979, this has closed another page in history. Thankfully, through the friendship of Thelma's daughter Lydia, we have also remained friends. We will continue to remember our mothers and remember growing up together back in the north end. I will miss your visits. - Posted by: Lynn Osachuk (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2005

Uncle Gunter, so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunty Thelma. We will always remember Thelma's good sense of humour and the good memories of you and Aunty Thelma having dinner at our place the last time you were in Port Alberni, having your special "Steak Tar Tar." I am glad her suffering is over. Our thoughts are with you and the family. Love Shari and Allan Schwenning (Dorothy's daugher and son-in-law). - Posted by: Shari Schwenning (Family) on: Nov 19, 2005
