WILLIAM (BILL) BUCK Peacefully, with his family by his side William (Bill) Buck passed away on November 19, 2005 in the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70 years. Bill was born on July 19, 1935 in Stuartburn, MB. Bill spent his later years in Winnipeg, MB working as a construction supervisor for many years. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sylvia, daughter Cheryl (Lyle) Didyk, son Brad (Cassie) and grandchildren: Ashley, David and Daniel; sisters: Jean Tracy, Elsie (Bill) Kohut, Olga (Maurice) Fosty; brothers Tony (Eva) and Maurice (Florence) and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his mother and father Alex and Lena Buck, sister Gloria Chobotar, brothers John and Jarvis and brother-in-law Joe Tracy. The family of Bill would like to send out a thank you to the staff in the palliative care ward in the St. Boniface Hospital. Also a special thank you to the warm and friendly staff at the McEwen Center where he had spent the last six months. Prayers will be said Thursday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 E at Navin Rd. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 E at Navin Rd. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bills memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
