Born in Georgetown Guyana to Walter and Ivy Babb, he immigrated to Winnipeg in 1980. As a multi-skilled individual, Joseph was an accomplished trades man and had a very creative mind. He was a very sociable individual, loved meeting new people and had a generous, giving spirit. Most importantly, Joseph was growing in his relationship with the Lord. He will be greatly missed by his former wife Waveney and children, Grace, Paul, Junior, Frankie, Troy, Simone, Orin, Shondell, Shonette, Churise, stepchildren, Karon and Royston, niece Agnes and by numerous other family and friends. Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Friday, November 25 at 2:00 p.m. 982-7550.
