Mom (Amma) will be remembered lovingly and always by her four girls, Lynn Cassidy (Jim), Joan Carter (Doug), Jo Anne Rhodes (Dusty) and Tracy, her honorary daughter Rose, her grandchildren Tara, Darby, Lee (Tracy), Jj, Paul, Joel and Joshua, and her beautiful great-grandchild Anikka, and her many grand dogs - especially Maddy. Mom is also survived by her brother-in-law Ed, sister-in-law Rita and by nieces, nephews and extended family in Regina, Vancouver and Detroit. Mom was predeceased by our wonderful Dad (Papa), her parents Joe and Jessie Carveth, sisters Jean, Ang, Bea and brother Joe, brothers-in-law Laurie, Cec and our family dog Mike. Thanks to the dedication, kindness and friendship of the staff at Kiwanis, mom was able to remain at home. Special thanks and love to Heather, Yvonne, Tammy, Linda, Kathy, Liz, Ed - heck the whole family at Kiwanis as well as her home care nurses Noelle and Donna. The support and kindness of Drs. Gooi, Cliff Yaffe and Paul Daeninck will be long remembered. Mom's spirit, kindness and strength of character saw us all through triumphs and tragedies, and she taught us that whatever our accomplishments to maintain our integrity and to take care of each other. Amma was always proudest of the generosity and kindness of her family and taught us all that it is more important to be decent and honest than it is to be successful, although success is okay too. She will always be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mom, amma, grandamma and friend. And so, until we meet again... Adios Au revoir Auf Wiedersehen ... Good night In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Metropolitan Kiwanis Courts, a caring humanitarian organization, at 2300 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 1A2.
