ROY (BUD) MCINTOSH 1923 - 2005 With sadness we announce the passing of Bud at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, November 19, 2005. Bud is survived by his wife Shirley, of 58 years of marriage; son Donald; daughters, Linda and Joan; daughter-in-law Martha; son-in-law Brock; and grandchildren, Jenny, Danny, Trish, Celine, Carmen and Donovan. A veteran of the Second World War, Bud enlisted with the R.C.A.F. at age 18. He served several years locally and overseas as a Leading Aircraftsman . Bud was a member of the musician's union and ran his own band for 40 plus years. Music was his passion and immensely enjoyed entertaining people! He brought great pleasure to many people with his music! Bud's / Dad's unique ways, strong will and sense of humour, have touched us all in someway...He will be sadly missed...but always with us in our hearts. There will be a gathering of family friends at a later date. In honour of Bud, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • As a young drummer I had the privilege to play with Bud and his orchestra in mid 60's. It was a great experience for me as a young musician to play with a pro like Bud. God bless, Flavio Winnipeg in the 60's - Posted by: FLAVIO (MUSICIAN FRIEND) on: Feb 18, 2025
