We mourn her passing, her dear husband Walter predeceased her in 1994. Ruth was born in Ebenezer, SK. She had one sister named Frieda and two brothers, Eric and Wilfred. Her brother Wilfred at 100 years lives in Wisconsin. Ruth is survived by her son Ron; her grandchildren, Christopher, Loree, Allison and Lawrence. She is also a great-grandmother to Gage, Michael, Elyssa, Sam, Laine and Dakotah. Sadly she saw the passing of her daughter Koreen to cancer and her grandson Leonard to asthma. Ruth was married to Walter for over 50 years, In that capacity she was his constant companion and helpmate as he developed and grew Display Industries to a flourishing business that operated in Canada and the United States. She and Walter also found time to be constant participants in the activities of the Broadway First Baptist Church. Although her capacity to function was severely compromised by her blindness Ruth was still able to live on her own until a few years ago. She spent her final years in the care of the nurses at Lions Manor. Her family will always be indebted to these caregivers who gave her such caring treatment and them peace of mind. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Broadway First Baptist Church. Immediately after a gathering of her family and friends will take place at the church hall.
