WILLIAM EDWARD MCCORMACK (MAC) William Edward McCormack joined his wife Dorothy Carlson at the 19th Hole on Friday, November 25, 2005. Mac was born on June 14, 1920, in the apartment house on Washington Avenue in Brooklyn, New York to Margaret (Ricords) McCormack and William James McCormack and sister Lil (McCormack) Fehring. His memory lives on through his daughter Pat McCormack-Speak, son-in-law (the son he never had) Andy Speak, Grandpa's favourites girlfriends , granddaughters Kelly McCormack Speak and Nicole Elizabeth Speak and partner John Small, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends spread from coast to coast. Our thanks are extended to the staff of Fred Douglas Heritage House Supportive Housing Unit for supporting Mac's daily life over the past two years; all of the staff working on HSC-A4, in particular Norma and Doctor Mike 3rd year med student, who for three weeks provided exemplar family centered care, and to the staff of HSC-D5 who supported the last week of his journey. We are especially grateful for the pastoral care of Rev. Ken Kuhn who gathered our communal faith to surround Mac in the last days and moments of his life. A Celebration of Mac's Life will be held on Tuesday, November 29 4:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 815 Inkster Boulevard. Irish Blessing May you always have work for your hands to do. May your pockets hold always a coin or two. May the sun shine bright on your window pane. May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you. And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
