MOLLIE DAMAN (nee CADGER) Peacefully with her family at her side, Mollie passed away on November 25, 2005, at the Victoria General Hospital. Mollie was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Leach; parents Barbara and Isaac Cadger; brother Bob Cadger; sisters, Barbara Foster, Peggy Berry, Lizzie Darling, Gertie Verhaeghe and Greta Cadger. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Christian; daughter Heather (Bob) Falconer; son Grant (Zoila) Daman; son-in-law Paul Leach; grandchildren, Katherine (Bob), Jennifer, Robbie, Jordan (Tracey), James (Janet), Natalia, Caroline and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Carson, Courtlyn, Fahren and Bryce; sister Alice Matheson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mollie was raised in Winnipeg and worked at Eatons until she was married on September 1, 1944, to Christian Daman and moved to the family farm. Mom enjoyed her trips to Vegas, Palm Springs and Ottawa. She was a people person who touched everyone she knew with her smile, wit and gentle charm. She was a devoted wife and mother and family always came first. The family wishes to thank the health care workers, nurses and doctors on unit 5 at the Vic for their wonderful care. A very special thanks to Pat Cumming, Dr. Rosenthal and Dr. Choptiany for their extra care. Mom will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A private interment will take place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
