JESSIE ELLEN MILLAR (nee MCADAM) Peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2005, at the Poseidon Care Centre, Jessie passed away at the age of 83. Jessie is survived by son Scott and daughter-in-law Leslee Millar of Winnipeg; daughter Margaret and son-in-law Allan French of Eugene, OR; grandsons, Kyle (Jodie) and Craig (Janette); and brother Alex McAdam. Jessie was predeceased by husband Hugh in 1975; father Alex McAdam in 1946 and mother Ruth McAdam in 1985. Jessie was raised and educated in Stonewall. She graduated from the Misericordia General Hospital School of Nursing in 1944. Jessie's life was dedicated to raising her family. She enjoyed many years at the family cottage at Twin Beaches on Lake Manitoba tending tirelessly to her beautiful yard and flowers. Special thanks to the staff at Poseidon Care Centre for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, on Thursday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
