Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryART J. CYR November 11, 1939 - November 26, 2005 Peacefully, with his wife and family by his side, Art passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2005, at the Health Sciences Centre. He leaves to mourn his wife Shirley; his children, Grant (Linda), Cory (Ashley), Bunny (Gregg); grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Ashley, Jalin and Alexis; brothers, Ernest (Darlene), Ken (Sharon); sister Irene (Donald); and also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Annette; and brother Edward (Trigger). Art was a life long resident of Powerview and married Shirley in 1959. He worked for the Pine Falls Paper Company until he retired. He gave us so many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. He was always the first to be there if you needed him. He was always laughing and smiling. The only thing that could distract him from his other interests like fishing, gardening, hunting or playing crib was a plane in the sky! God gave us a perfect husband, father and grandfather who has touched our lives in so many ways. We will cherish his memory forever. The family would like to thank the Pine Falls Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre nursing staff and doctors for their care and compassion during his stay, and also to the community for their support. Pallbearers will be Grant Cyr, Bunny Desloges and Cory Cyr. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at the Notre Dame du Laus parish, Powerview, MB, on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. James Gray the celebrant. Interment to follow at the Notre Dame du Laus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. SOBERING FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM, Beausejour 268-3510 or MB. Each and every one of you hold a very special place in our hearts. Uncle Art always made me smile, and when he made me laugh I could feel it right down to the bottom of my toes. Our thoughts are with you Love Judy and Max - Posted by: Judy & Max (Family) on: Nov 30, 2005
