LOUIS HENRY GAUDRY December 31, 1920 - November 25, 2005 Born December 31, 1920, passed away on November 25, 2005 at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness. Henry was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Madeleine, in 2001 and is survived by his five children, Donald (Sandra), John (Marion), Susan (Roger), Paul (Cathy) and Marcel (Veronica), his 11 grandchildren and his sister, Rita Bodnar. Prior to his retirement in 1986, Henry worked for 35 years as a sheetmetal worker at Bristol Aerospace. In his retirement years, he and Madeleine remained active with golf, gardening and time spent with family. Dad played his last golf game just three weeks before his death. We will miss him very much, but we are grateful for his almost 85 years of exceptionally good health. A private service and interment with his immediate family will be held on November 30. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at a reception to celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30 in the Alderwood Room at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, located on Highway #1 East of Winnipeg at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the charity of your choice.
