Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA LAURA REINSCH (nee LECLAIR) 1918 - 2005 On November 13, 2005, Eva passed away at Misericordia Place at the age of 86. She will forever remain in the memory of her husband of 62 years, Oscar; her daughter Cheryl Manness (Clayton); her sons, Alvin and Richard (Simone), and her grandchildren, Scott (Marci), Jason (April), Christine (Daryl), Alan, Jeff, Danny and Emma. She had four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Kendall, Alison and Benjamin, and two lifelong friends, Audrey and Elsie. She was predeceased by her daughter and first born, Eve-lynne (1965), a loss that lasted a life-time. Eva was born in Winnipeg on November 18, 1918, the second child of Alfred and Caroline LeClair, and grew up in Brunkild with her three siblings, Esther, Pearl and Oliver. Upon completing her education, she moved to Winnipeg where she was employed at Eatons. Following her marriage, Oscar and she settled in Brunkild to raise a family. Together, they owned and successfully operated a family farm to which she was a full and steadfast contributor. Always concerned with her children's well-being, she shared in their successes, and also in their more difficult times. Mom was an avid reader, whose love of knowledge inspired her interest in political affairs, history and current events. She once indicated she would have enjoyed a career as a political analyst/commentator. Mom's life can best be summed up by her work ethic, her courage, and her loyalty to her family. At her request, a private family graveside service was held November 16 at Thomson In the Park Cemetery. If you wish, donations in Eva's memory may be made to the Arthritis Society of Manitoba, 105-386 Broadway, R3C 3R6 or the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald, R3C 4G2.
