L. PEARL FISHER (nee HUDSON) January 25, 1910 - November 22, 2005 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pearl Fisher, Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Kin Place, two months short of her 96th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1986. She was also predeceased by her infant son Allen, daughter May, and husband Colin Cann, sons-in-law Skapti Bjarnason, and Steve Sabo; granddaughter Carolynne Cann, grandson Scott Bjarnason; sister Myrtle Hadaller (Clarence), brothers Allen Hudson (Beryl), Joe Hudson, Elsworth Hudson (Emma), brother-in-law Peter Pingatore. She leaves to mourn her children Blanche Bjarnason, Rita Hutlet (Lou), Edna Sabo, Gladys Gislason (David), Joe Fisher (Gladys), Gwen Shumila (Ron), Lyle Fisher (Brenda), Linda Davisson (Bob), 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A sister Gladys Pingatore and sister-in-law Anne Hudson. Pearl will be remembered for her dedication and service as an organist at Hazelbridge United, Hazebridge Millbrook United and finally Anola United. She was also a long time member of the U.C.W. She was well known throughout the community as a gardener, especially for her fruit trees, flowers and house plants. The family would like to thank staff at Oakbank Kin Place for their care and compassion. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 E at Navin Road. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Anola United Church, Anola, MB, R0E 0A0 or Kin Place Personal Care Home, Box 28, Oakbank, MB, R0E 1J0.
