HAROLD ROY (JOHN) MORRISON April 4, 1910 - November 24, 2005 It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of a loving brother, uncle and friend, affectionately known as John. Harold was born in Klondyke, MB and farmed for many years in Hazelridge, MB. Later Harold moved to Anola, MB and worked a number of years for Carl Cook in the lumber business before retiring to the Sunrise Lodge in Anola. Harold was a loving and caring person who enjoyed family and friends to come and visit him anytime. He loved all his nieces and nephews dearly and never tired of playing cards or games with the young children. He had a close bond with his great nephew Brian Morrison, who was like a son to him. They both enjoyed their many visits, never breaking tradition of trips to Beausejour and lunches together. After retiring, Harold took many trips to Hawaii, California and Arizona, always enjoying these trips with family and friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Wilford, Lorne and Russel, also by sisters, Gertie Roberts, Lottie Nettleton and Violet Wright. Harold is survived by sisters, Jean Fanshaw and Viola Salter; also his good friend Martin Freundl, who visited him regularly. Great-great nieces and nephews Amanda and Kelsey Morrison of Calgary, AB and Alysia, Brooke, Brian and Bradlee Lawson of Winnipeg will especially miss him as he spoiled them with cards and gifts for every occasion. In compliance with Harold's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations can be made on Harold's behalf, if so desired, to a charity of one's choice. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, (204) 222-3241
