Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD GRANT ROBSON (GRANT) December 1985 - November 2005 It is with deep sorrow that the Robson family announces the tragic passing of our son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, Edward Grant on November 24, 2005. Grant was born in Flin Flon, MB and lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He attended Stanley Knowles School and Sisler High School. He loved to sketch, draw, write poems and stories. Much of his writing focused on Chase and Caleb, his two nephews, whom he loved dearly. As a youth, Grant played hockey and baseball and won numerous trophies, one of them being a gold medal in speed skating. He danced pow wow at the Pan Am American Games in 1999 along with the Shaughnessy Park Pow Wow Club. He was known to sing gospel at the Deliverance Centre. As a young man he enjoyed singing rap and won a Rap contest at the Portage Fair in 2002. Grant leaves to mourn his father Edward; his mother Patricia; grandmother Doreen; brothers, Greg, Conrad and Dale; sisters, Rubina and Christina; nephews, Chase and Caleb and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Grant, alias G will be sadly missed by all of his close friends. Viewing and prayers will be held on Sunday, November 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A funeral service will take place on Monday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Hall at Scanterbury, MB with Pastor Ray Cornish officiating. Pallbearers are Eric Lavalee, Jessie Lavalee, Tex Smith, Jamie Kipling, Cory Kipling and Jason Cuaresma. Honorary Pallbearers are Chad Boutell and Larry Richard.
