ELIZABETH LUCHUK Elizabeth Betty Luchuk died peacefully in her sleep, at the Deer Lodge Seniors Centre, on Monday, November 21, 2005, at the age of 90 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her sister Frances of Victoria; and brother Reg of Flin Flon. She will be especially missed by her sister-in-law Joyce Luchuk of Winnipeg, who was her constant visitor in Betty's later years. Betty is also survived by sisters-in-law, Inez of Rivers and Ina of Windsor; as well, she will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Sara; five brothers, William in infancy, Edward, David, Peter and James. Betty grew up in Rivers, MB as part of a large family and graduated as a RN in 1941 from the Vancouver General Hospital. She then nursed in Winnipeg at the Misericordia and Deer Lodge Hospital, retiring from the Deer Lodge after 25 years of service. Betty and her sister Rose enjoyed the Assiniboia Downs and the Blue Bombers football and travelled extensively following their retirement. Betty will be lovingly remembered for her wonderful sense of humour and her needlework talents, for which she won many ribbons at the Red River Exhibition. A private family ceremony will be held celebrating Betty's Life at a later date in Rivers, MB. Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Deer Lodge Seniors Centre where Betty resided the last three years. Forever in our Hearts Betty's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
