Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES ERNEST WOCKS Passed away peacfully in the early morning on November 18, 2005 at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, B.C. Born in Winnipeg, MB on February 10, 1920, Jim lived his entire life there until October 27 of this year, when we brought him out to B.C. to be with his family. He was predeceased by his father James and mother Estelle (Cleaver), and sister-in-law Jean (Mawhinney) and will be lovingly missed by his only brother Albert. Jim remained a bachelor, but became like a second Dad to all of his nieces and nephews, Rick (Marilyn), Dennis (Elizabeth), Judy (Ralph), Barbara (Ken), Margaret (Paul), David (Sherri), Rob (Cathy), Patty (Glen), and 19 great-nieces and nephews. Many of our fond memories were created by Jim and he will be greatly missed. He was a caring and generous man who made many friends in Winnipeg. He joined the armed forces and served his country proudly with the 8th RECCE overseas. When he came home, he was active in the Army and Navy, Garry St. Unit for many years. He was a postman all his life and retired in 1978. He had a passion for bowling and held a 4 game record for many years with his team. Our family would like to thank all of his friends who loyally supported and cared for him in Winnipeg. There was a private family graveside burial held on November 25, 2005.

To you Albert, and your family I was saddened to see Jim's name in the paper. What a gentlman he was. I was happy to see you both on the casino trip this fall. I felt it may be the last time I'd see him. Am sorry. Lorna from Dynasty Tours, Winnipeg - Posted by: Lorna (Acquaintance) on: Nov 29, 2005
