JAKE WALL 1938 - 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jake Wall aged 67 years of Winkler, formerly of Chortitz on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy (nee Rempel) Wall of Winkler and his six children and his grandchildren; Brad and Lucille (Jamie, Sherrie and Janelle) Wall, Wes Wall, Dwayne and Diane (Jordan, Joshua and Hanna) Wall, Barb and John (Melissa, Chantelle and Marshall) Giesbrecht, Glenn and Lori (Austin, Shaiya and Mersadieze) Wall and Allen and Nita (Cody, Jaydon and Nolan) Wall. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters and brother, Agatha and John Thiessen, Joanna and John Penner and Cornie and Mary Wall as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob C. and Agatha Wall and grandson Zachary, in infancy. Jake and Kathy were married on March 27, 1960 and raised their family mainly in the Winkler area. Jake was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed many years of travels in the trucking industry. He was an avid gardener and animal lover and spent much of his spare time caring for stray cats and his pet parrot Polly/Jacob. He cherished his grandchildren and spent many happy days with them. He will remain in their hearts forever. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Mennonite Church, Schanzenfeld. Interment will follow at Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Dr. Woelk and the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at Boundary Trails Health Centre. A special thanks to Kayla.
