Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I just wanted to send this message to comfort you . I was near the Meadowood doors at St. Vital and discovered Lydia. I stayed with her the entire time and comforted her. I lost my mother in March of a massive heart attack. We all found her the next day. Unfortunately she died alone. I made sure Lydia was not alone. I felt as if I was helping my own mother during her last moments. Please contact me. I need to know how you all are doing. Sincerely and with my deepest sympathies, Yvonne Scott. - Posted by: Yvonne Vernaus-Scott (Acquaintance) on: Dec 01, 2005

  • Dear Carol, Wesley, Fred and Terry and family, I just happened to look at the online Winnipeg Free Press obituaries. I'm sorry to learn of the passing of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I used to come to your house to watch Disneyland and play with Fred's electric train set. My Mom died in April of 1988 - Dad just celebrated his 92nd birthday November 10. Please send an email if you wish to learn more about our lives. Carol, please say hi to your husband Ken. I remember him well. Wow - 50 years ago! Frans van der Greft, Cobourg, Ontario - Posted by: Frans van der Greft (Beverley) (Acquaintance) on: Nov 30, 2005
