Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALARIE BARBARA EREMKO (nee TROJAN) April 6, 1938 - November 25, 2005 It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Valarie at the Victoria General Hospital. Valarie was predeceased by her parents, Pauline Trojan (nee Blavuciak, October 5, 1896 - June 27, 1963) and Theodore Trojan (March 10, 1897 - July 15, 1963) They came from Europe. Her only brother Michael Frederick Trojan (1932-1989) and sister Anna Bihun (1924-2000). Valarie is survived by her daughter Laurie (John Petznik); her husband Elliot; her sister Pauline (Rudy) Kaschl and son Darryl (Michelle) and their child. She was a compassionate mother who devoted her entire being, to the raising of her only child, Laurie. She was a travelling companion and loving wife to her husband. They enjoyed many trips until her failing health began to interfere with her enjoyment of life in the last year. Her love and devotion to her husband and daughter will seldom be equaled. We grieve deeply at her passing. Valarie was born in Winnipeg and was the youngest of four children. She graduated from Tec Voc, and married Elliot Eremko in 1957. Laurie was born in 1958 and grew up in Transcona. Mom was very good at baking and everyone loved when she baked up goodies and gave them away. She never became a grandmother , but in later years enjoyed her daughters' pets that had fur and wool. Mom was a very practical person and believed flowers were meant to be enjoyed by the living and that a donation to a charity of one's choice (if desired) could help the living. She always liked people for who they were on the inside. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 LAGIMODIERE BLVD. 982-7550
