WINNIFRED (WINNIE) GIESELA ZACHARUK (nee TOTZKE) It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Winnie. She slipped peacefully back into the arms of God on Sunday, November 27, 2005. Remaining to forever cherish Winnie's memory are her devoted and loving husband, Michael; children, Debbie Schaefer (Chris), Dianne Thompson (Dirk) and Robert Zacharuk (Michelle). Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Jarrod, Travis, Laura, Derek, Kelsey, Samantha, Zachary and Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha and Herman Totzke and brother William Totzke. Winnie treated each day of life as a prized gift, devoting her time to loving and caring for her family and giving care and comfort to all she came in contact with. She shared the true meaning of unconditional love for her family and friends. Her faith and belief in God was always strong and unwavering. Winnie was active with the church, enjoyed knitting and needle point that she shared with her family. Our deep sense of loss is buoyed by our wonderful memories of a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and dedicated friend. Public visitation will be held on Friday evening, December 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. Winnie's funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 10:30 a.m. in Westwood Presbyterian Church, 197 Browning Blvd. at Westwood Drive with Rev. Ian Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave. Our family would like to give special thanks to her angels at Tuxedo Villa for their gentle kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, contribution in Winnie's memory may be made to the Alzeheimer's Society of Manitoba, Unit 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Winnie's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
