FABIANA CLAIRMONT (nee ST. VINCENT) April 14, 1917 - November 28, 2005 Peacefully on November 28, 2005, Fabiana passed away at the age of 88 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Albert Clairmont (1996); daughter Julia Verrier (2004); grandson Robert Trudel (1967); brothers, Rene, Nestor, Marcel; and sister Marie-Ange. Fabiana will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Dora (Bill) Durant, Marielle (Ray) Trudel, Norman, Madeleine (Bill) Manveiler; and son-in-law Denis Verrier; grandchildren, Karen (Glenn) Tisdall, Derek Durant, Dianne (Albert) Ramm, Jacqueline (Brad) Thompson, Susan (Brian) Beiko, Ron (Dean) Verrier, Richard Trudel, Kevin Trudel, Jeffrey (Pamela) Trudel, Kelly Manveiler and Michael Manveiler; 13 grandchildren, Eric and Matthew Tisdall, Chloe and Trey Ramm, Aidan and Owen Thompson, Karlie and Holly Beiko, Daniel, Megan and Emily Verrier, Gabriel and Max Trudel. She also leaves to mourn, sisters, Irene Sabourin and Alice Berard; brothers, Edouard (Irene) St. Vincent, Fern St. Vincent; brother-in-law Edgar (Evelyn) Clairmont. Born in St. Jean-Baptiste on April 14, 1917, she married Albert in 1939 and moved to Fort Garry and made it their home. Family was her greatest joy and she would always place them before herself. They will cherish her memory through the quilts that she made for them with love. Fabiana was an avid gardener and enjoyed travelling near and far. She was a gentle and kind lady and would welcome with open arms anyone who wanted to visit. Fabiana, a devout Catholic, had a special devotion to Sainte-Anne. Viewing and prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral mass will take place on Friday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy., with Fr. Patrick Morand presiding. Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at the St. Vital Parish Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Fabiana's six grandsons. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the East Wing staff of the St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their excellent care and kindness.
