DION (BLACK WOLF RUNNING) May 13, 1938 - November 29, 2005 Peacefully, Charles Dion passed away at the Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side. Charles is survived by his wife Addie of 30 years; stepmother Margery Ayres; sons, Trevor Dion, Jaye Dion and Ken (Fran) Dodd; daughters, Kelly Dion, Charlene Dion, Tracy (David) Amey, Tamara Prince and Jewel (Walt) Blazenko; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father Walter Ayres; mother Catherine Dion; stepfather Amos Dion; grandson Glenn Dion; daughter Lynne Jesmer; granddaughter Amanda Kaye; and great-grandson Cordon-Jae Kirton. Charles was born in Winnipeg and graduated from Gordon Bell High School. He was an owner / operator with Duffy's Taxi for 47 years. He was a member of the Masonic Temple of Stonewall #12 and the Shrine Khartum Temple (Vintage Car) for 19 years. Special thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre 4th Floor and MICU. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or the MICU - Trust Fund, GH736 - 820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9. i wish i had more time with you, you never forgot about me even when i couldn't see you. Every year on my birthday there was a card sent i never got. I miss you. I talk to your great grandaughter about you all the time. I got married a month ago, i wore your chain well i got married.
