Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER (BILL) GAETZ March 23, 1923 - November 27, 2005 Peacefully after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Walter (Bill) Gaetz, on Sunday, November 27, 2005, in the Vita Hospital, at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 58 years, Pauline and his children, Tonia (Bob) Storoschuk, Therese (Gordon) Porter, Pat (Maurice) Tkachuk, Brian and Garry (Elaine). He also leaves grandchildren, Pam, Roger, Rick, and Christine and children, Taylor and Jaycee Storoschuk, Deanna and Tim Jablonski, Derek and Rehannon and child Cole Tkachuk, Hillary Porter, Corey and Julie Gaetz. Brothers, Eugene (Evelyn), Leonard (Shirley), Frank (Pat); sisters, Verna (Peter) Kozak, Rose (Ed) Olsonoski, Victoria Wilebeski, Sally Fishbrook, Bernice Wolf and Florence Cesmistruk and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents Adam and Mary, sister Margaret Yanitski and five brothers-in-law predeceased Bill. Bill and Pauline lived on a farm in Tolstoi, MB for 50 years, after which they moved to Vita, as his health would not allow him to continue farming. He was very active with the Gaetz's Catering for many years, a lifetime member of the Tolstoi and District Senior's Centre. Some of Bill's hobbies were fishing, gardening and woodworking which he enjoyed with such passion. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Tolstoi, MB. Viewing will take place half an hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery. Special Thank-you to staff at the Vita Hospital, Dr. Ahmad and Dr. Arrezaghi.
